With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John "Paul" Caudill on August 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Paul was born on March 26, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Garnett (nee McMath) Caudill.

Paul was a man of many talents and was known as the go-to plumber and electrician in his family. His skills extended far and wide, as he was a true jack of all trades, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer sage advice. If you had a question, Paul was the person you turned to; if he didn't know the answer, he would stop at nothing to find it for you.

Devoted to his loved ones, Paul cherished every moment spent with his wife, Juanita "Jane" Caudill, and their children. He was a proud grandfather who adored his grandchildren, making lasting memories with them that will be treasured for years to come. He found joy in gardening, traveling, and shopping for hours, as he did the days he spent farming soybeans, corn, and tobacco, where he created a wealth of memories with his family. Those experiences were not just about work; they were treasured moments that brought them all closer together.

Known for his infectious smile and warm sense of humor, Paul had the remarkable ability to light up any room he entered. His presence was a source of joy and comfort to those fortunate enough to know him.

Paul was the beloved husband of 59 years to Juanita "Jane" (nee Grant) Caudill; Loving father of Cathy (Tim) McLemore, Stephen (Heather) Caudill, Tina (Al Cortopassi) Cooper, and the late John Paul "Johnny" Caudill II; Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Brandon) Moore, Tyler McLemore, Jonathon (Tori Baker) McLemore, Katie (Justin) Clark, Abagail (Nate) Morissette, Kelsey Lawson, Ashley (T.J. Henize) Caudill, Nicholas (Loretta Webb) Caudill, Sebastian (Kami Tennant) Cooper, Dominik (Kristen Stofan) Cooper, Brettan Cooper, and Kitrick Cooper; Great-grandfather of Madison, Hunter, Lillian, Caden, Alex, Emmett, Natalie, Jamison, Liam, Kaiser, Kayson, Annie, and Waylon; Dear brother of Samuel (Betty) Caudill and Lois Frees. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - Milford. Funeral services will be held the next morning on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Paul will be laid to rest at Sharon Cemetery in Jackson Township.
