John Cerasuolo Jr. Obituary John L. Cerasuolo Jr., 50, of Johnstown NY passed away suddenly at home from health issues on October 5, 2024. John was born on November 16th, 1973, to John Cerasuolo Sr and Donna (Phillips) Cerasuolo Fratus at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam NY. He graduated from Broadalbin- Perth High School in 1991. He was a decorated mentor-driver for Walmart DC 6096.
John lived life on his own terms. He loved fast cars! Particularly his 2016 Ford Mustang GT 5.0. He attended many car shows and raced around lake George and Maine with his brother-in-law Howard Moore, burning those tires whenever he could! John could always make you laugh! He loved hanging out at "Mark and Noels pool side barand grill" just relaxing with his good friends. It was always a good time, and it was his happy place! He loved trail riding and mudding with his brother-in law Mark in their tricked-out jeeps! He also loved hanging out and playing the slots and Blackjack with his father-in-law, Dan.
John is survived by his wife, Lynn (Pabis) Cerasuolo, his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Hunter Brown of North Carolina; his mother Donna (Cerasuolo) Fratus of Rotterdam; his sister Chris (Cerasuolo) Moore and brother-in-law Howard Moore III; brother-in-law Mark Pabis, and sister-in-law Noel VanNostrand; in-laws Dan and Kathy Pabis of Syracuse; his very special Aunt and Uncle Dawn and Don Hart, he thought of them as second parents and loved them very much; his uncle Mike and aunt Marla; Nieces Ariane (Derose) Andrews and husband Ben, Kaitlyn Copeland-Moore (Theresa); nephews Howard Moore 4th (Pamela), Jacob Pabis (Heidi); very special friend Brett (Donkey) VanNostrand; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
John was predeceased by his father John Cerasuolo Sr., mother-in-law Marguerite (Margie) Ferguson; and stepdad Ray Fratus.
More personal, on behalf of my daughter and I, John and Lynn (I) were the loves of each other's life, together as close friends for over 30 years, we were finally married October 31st, 2021. There was nothing John would not do for me and Allison. He was very proud the day Allison and Hunter were married, very proud of Hunter for his continued military service and very proud the day Allison was sworn in as a Deputy Sherriff. He was extremely excited for the upcoming birth of his Grandson Baby Brown.
John you were so loved, and you touched so many lives with the laughter you brought, that Quick wit!! The love and compassion you had for your friends and family was so strong! The world defiantly became darker the day your light went away! I love you so much!! Thank you for hiding the dimes so I always knew my mom was near, thank you for loving and caring so much for our Ally Brown Bear!! Thank you for just being you! Until we meet again my Love.
There is no service for John, that was his wish. He wanted to be cremated and brought home to his family. If anyone would like to donate in honor of John, please donate to a college trust for Baby Brown held in Allison Riccis name at NBT Bank.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Rose & Hughes Funeral Home. Please visit the online memorial at www.roseandhughesfh.com To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of John, please visit our Tree Store.
