John Chenevert Obituary
He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Chenevert.
Survivors include: his wife of 59 years, Fay Chenevert, son- John Chenevert and his wife, Teresa, daughter- Karen Bergen and her husband, Michael, grandson- Max Bergen, and many other family members and friends. He is also survived by his faithful companion, Blue
Chenevert was born on September 9, 1943, in Newark, NJ, and most recently resided in Gasburg, VA.
He served in the United States Navy from 1964-1968, worked at Hobbie Heat & Power (NJ), and Manhattan Welding (NJ). He was an active member of the American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Special thanks to staff at the Veterans Administration for their dedicated care and support.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 6pm on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either: American Cancer Society (cancer.org), or Tunnel to Towers (t2t.org).
