With deepest sadness and endless gratitude, the Choma family announces the passing of John Edward Choma III of Gahanna, Ohio on January 18, 2024 from a sudden heart attack at 75 years of age.
John was born in Canton, Ohio to John Edward Choma Jr. and Wanda Flynn on August 3, 1948 and attended Lincoln High School and Malone College, graduating in 1971. He met his wife, Carolyn Muse, of Massillon, Ohio in February of 1969 and they were married on May 27, 1972. They lived in both Bellevue, Ohio and Gahanna, Ohio and John was a devoted fan of Cleveland sports and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
John enjoyed cooking and traveling, he was a trivia buff and a dog dad to Binky and Malone, both dachshunds. He worked in a number of hospitality positions including restaurant management and hospitality sales until his retirement job at Enterprise.
John is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Christian Loehr (Jason); and granddaughters, Caysen and Callan Dreisbach. Services will take place in the spring, please reach out to the family for details.
