John J. Christiano Jr., passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 82 in his hometown of over 40 years, Sacramento, CA. He was born in Waterbury, CT where he spent his early years surrounded by the love of his parents, John J. Christiano Sr. and Mary Christiano, and siblings Joe, Rose, Mary, Jimmy, and Nancy. John is survived by his devoted wife Susan Christiano, his daughter and son-in-law Brenna and Robert Posehn, his son and daughter-in-law Joe Christiano and Meagan Withrow, his son Paul Christiano, and daughter Jean Christiano as well as his cherished grandchildren Briseis and Briar-Reign Posehn and Alec and Kira O'Rourke and his lovely sisters Rose Taliercio and Mary Fichandler. He was a pillar of strength and love for his family, always putting their needs above his own. During his lifetime, John pursued his passion for horses and sports, making a name for himself as a Horse Trainer and Golf Course superintendent. His love for horse racing and all sports, especially baseball, was evident to all who knew him. In addition to his career accomplishments, John proudly served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1964. His personal traits of loyalty, honesty, and a witty sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. John had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Withrow Ranch, 5099 Pleasant Grove Road in Pleasant Grove, CA 95668 on October 12, 2024, from 2-5 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his remarkable life. John's legacy will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared with those around him. In his passing, John leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, John, your memory will live on in the hearts of your loved ones forever.
