John Clements Obituary
John was born in Omega, Georgia on September 9, 1926 to the late Debbie and John William Clements.
A proud Marine who fought in WWII and resident of Decatur, GA, John is survived by his wife Glenda Clements; daughters, Carol Swims Royer of Cumming, GA and Gail Benson of Brookfield, GA. He was predeceased by daughter, Judy Mederios and stepson, Patrick Carter of Panama City, FL. John is the proud grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for John on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Immediately following the visitation will be graveside military honors, masonic rites and a committal service at 11:00 AM at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
