John Edwin Copp, 66, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 4th, 2026. He was born on March 4, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri to Ralph Copp and Virginia (Bastian) Copp.
Immediately after graduating from Hortin Watkins High School, he worked on a Buffalo Ranch in Montana for several years. When he returned to Missouri, John was employed by Sachs Electric and after 38 years he finished his career as a Senior Project Manager.
John was an avid gardener and loved to fish. He could always be found tinkering in his shop. John loved his German Shepherds and they were true companions.
He is survived by his siblings; Candy (Tom) Grisham, Ralph (Sharon) Copp III and Claire (Chris) Smith; his nieces and nephews; Justin Grisham, Eric (Molly) Grisham, Jennifer (Brian) Richards, Andrew (Dani) Copp, Casey (Rachael) Smith and Lauren Smith; and his step-mother, Nancy Copp.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Copp and Virginia (Bastian) Copp.
A private celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. The family will gather to share memories, honor his legacy, and celebrate a life well lived.
