Nancy Copp Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 18, 2026.
Nancy Rose Copp, age 62, a resident of Center Line and formerly of Clinton Township, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2026.
Nancy was born on February 10, 1963, in Garden City, Michigan, and was soon after adopted by Stanley and Marguerite Bor, who lovingly raised her in Detroit. She attended Denby High School and dedicated her career to working in nursing homes, where she was cherished everywhere she went for her compassion, warmth, and genuine care for others.
Nancy was a deeply loving and selfless person. She was a devoted and encouraging mother, a supportive presence in her children's lives, and a loving wife. She married the love of her life, Thomas Copp II, on June 18, 2023, in Shelby Township, and together they built a home filled with kindness.
Creative by nature, Nancy loved to cook, entertain, and host gatherings where everyone felt welcome. She had a special love for babies, was gentle and kind to all animals, and found joy in dancing. Above all, she was family-oriented, always putting others before herself and making sure those around her felt cared for and supported.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Copp II; her children, Lucian (Pam) and their children, Nikolas and Isaac, Heather (Mackensy "Mac") and their son, Mackensy "Mack", Randy (Jordan) and their children, Austin, Adin, and Eastin; Thomas Copp III; Andrew; Alyssa; and Makayla. She is also survived by her siblings, Alan and Kathy. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Marguerite Bor, and by her siblings, George and Mary-Jo.
Funeral services for Nancy will be private.
Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
