He was born on January 27, 1963 in Minneola, NY and was the loving son of the late Arthur R Cordeiro and devoted mother, Carole Cordeiro.
John was an entertainer that loved to play guitar and write songs. He loved to make people laugh and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his mother, Carole; siblings, Ed Via, Cheri Fletcher, Francine Williams, Tish Goss Wilson and Nancy Cordeiro.

I met John in 1981 while playing in a band named "Banshee". he was a vocalist and I was the drummer. Over the next decade I would call john on a Saturday Morning, drive to Vero to pick him up and we'd spend the weekend together in Ft. Pierce where I lived. In the late 90's John worked with me doing Tile work, Hard Hard worker. Then he disappeared and I saw him on the "Long Island Medium" show somewhere in upstate NY. I told my girl, "I know that guy!". Having lost touch for so many years I reached out on Facebook in 2021 if anyone had heard from him, please tell him to call me. Well that happened and we began hanging out like the ole days. By now he had become a very talented guitarist and singer and I went to nearly all of his performances, he was great! He came over to my house in Sebastian a few times and we jammed on acoustics as he entertained my room mate while we were having a great time. I sure miss him and struggle with not hearing, seeing him anymore. R.I.P. John Ole Buddy!

I was part of the first band that John was in - Murkwood. Photo is of David Peek (lead guitar), John on drums, Patrick Jordan (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Al Kosnik (Bass / vocals). RIP John from your original bandmates from high school.
