We were saddened to learn of John's passing. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. John and I often kept in touch through Facebook. He was a wonderful , caring and compassionate person who was an outstanding mentor to countless students. I remember countless times being in John's company and enjoying his sense of humor and wit. Rest in Peace
