John Cornelison Obituary
John W. Cornelison Sr., 93, passed away on Thurs. Nov. 28, 2024, in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Dec. 3, 2024, from 12pm-2pm at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm at Cross Roads Baptist Church with burial to follow in Cross Roads Cemetery. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS is handling arrangements.
Mr. Cornelison was born on Sept. 22, 1931, in Burnsville, MS to the late Luther Huston Cornelison and Mary Kennedy Cornelison. He served his country during the Korean War with the United States Army. Mr. Cornelison was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Stewart Cornelison; five children, Angela Moore, Brenda Prewitt (Bubba), Wanda Cornelison, Brayden May and Kyrie May; son in law, Kevin Pickard; 18 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Mr. Cornelison is also preceded in death by his four children, Johnny Cornelison, Linda Pickard, Richard May and Patrick May.
