He loved airplanes and dreamed of becoming a pilot someday.  He was also a member of the Airport Planning Commission.  Darren was passionate about making the community a better place.  In his spare time, Darren enjoyed hunting golf balls, war history, gardening, the beach, and fishing.  Above all, Darren loved his family.  He enjoyed going out to dinner with them.  His family will remember him as the most wise, hard working, family man.  He always cared for others and took care of others before caring for himself.  He will be truly missed.
