Thank you for being a great role-model and my first boss. The new teacher orientation program you implemented helped me survive my first three years teaching at Radium Springs Middle and also cultivated many new teaching strategies for me to use in the classroom. Take your rest, well done faithful servant.

Dr. John Culbreath, alpha brother, scholar, community leader and man of God. We went to Albany State College together back in the early 60s, always on the Dean List and leader at a very young age.

You set the Bar High in academia, love for our kids and mankind and walking a path of righteousness.

You will always be remembered as a leader and kind human being. You are with the Lord.

I deeply mourn the passing of an extraordinary leader, educator, and mentor. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Culbreath as my superintendent (DOCO Schools), Dean (ASU), and Board Chair (Phoebe Hospital Board). As a former superintendent and dean, he dedicated his life to uplifting students, empowering educators, and advancing the mission of learning for all. His unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, and service has left an indelible mark on the countless lives he touched. He was not only a visionary in education but also a compassionate and principled man whose wisdom and kindness inspired everyone around him. His legacy will continue to guide and shape the future of education for generations to come. My family extends our deepest condolences to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
