John John Dalton

John John Dalton, 57, of Bedford, passed away on February 20, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 2, 1968, in Bedford, Indiana, to Judith Dalton and the late John Dalton.

John John worked as an operator for Metal Source and Gary Wessel Hauling. He was loved dearly by his family and friends. He enjoyed '80s music and movies and was a very talkative person who never met a stranger. He also enjoyed going to the casino on the weekends, and his love for fireworks shined through every Fourth of July.

Surviving John is his mother, Judith Wessel Dalton; his brother, Richie Dalton; his sisters, Abby (Wendell) McCammon, Lana (Troy) Byrd, Wendy (Richard) Hamilton, and Lacy (Matt Wright) Dalton; and his nieces and nephews, Emily Shelley (Elijah, Harley, and Oliver), Whitney Shelley (Samantha and Ivan), Crystal King (Liam and Gracie), JT Byrd, Savannah Hamilton, and Dalton Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Dalton, and his grandparents.

Services for John John Dalton will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th Street, Bedford, Indiana 47421, with Pastor Philip Thorne officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Bedford. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM, also at Ferguson-Lee.
