John Harvey Dart, 81, of Green Bay, passed away on June 3, 2023.
He was born on October 17, 1941 to Harvey and Lorraine (Laurent) Dart in Tonet, WI.
John was a graduate of Green Bay East High School in 1960.
John was a veteran of the United States Navy serving for three years on the USS Enterprise during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
John worked as a route salesman for Pepsi for over 30 years. He was proud of the service he provided to the customers in the areas surrounding Green Bay. John worked for Fox Valley Metal Tech and delivered parts until his full retirement. After a long career driving for his profession, he decided to drive more by volunteering for the Disabled Veteran's of America driving Veterans to the Madison V. A. Hospital.
He was a proud member of the P&M camping club where he enjoyed spending time with friends, fishing and steak cook outs.
John met and fell in love with Lois Cropp at St. Norbert College in 1965. They were both employed by Slater Food Service at that time. John and Lois were married on October 15, 1966. They were the first couple married at Ascension Lutheran Church in Allouez, WI. The happy couple resided in Green Bay, Wisconsin for the duration of their marriage and the last 20 years were split between Wisconsin and Texas.
John is survived by his loving spouse, Lois, daughter, Laura Dart, son, Matthew (Melanie) Dart, two grandchildren, Graysen and Caden Dart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kathleen Dart, and two sisters, Mary Dart Dupont and Beatrice Dart Rollin.
A cremation is planned and a private family service will be held at a later date. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Green Bay, Wisconsin is assisting with arrangements.
