Dart, Wanda Lynn - Age 81, of Swartz Creek, died May 3, 2025. Services will be held 3 PM Sunday May 11, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. (The service may be viewed by livestream by a link at Mrs. Dart's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Visitation will be held 1 PM until the time of the service at 3 PM on Sunday, May 11. Committal at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Shiawassee, Haven of Rest, 2005 E. Copas Rd., Owosso, MI 48867.
Wanda was born October 31, 1943 in Fenton, Michigan, the daughter of Leo and Iva (McArthur) Muchler. She married Harold Richard Dart on September 15, 1962; he preceded her in death March 13, 2025.
Wanda worked as a Bus Driver for Swartz Creek School until retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. She gave her time and talent by making hats that she donated to the church.
Surviving are: two sons, Gordon Dart; Dennis (Dawn) Dart; grandchildren, Hannah Johnson and Neena Hudson; sister, Karen (Pete) Wilson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Susan and siblings, Russel, Ivan, Raymond, Harold, Madeline, Dale, Marvin, Irma, and Mary.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Sharon and Ralph Limbam, Greg and Ramona Hodges and nephew, Willie Dart for their loving care and assistance during this time.
