John Glenwaine Davidson

John Glenwaine Davidson, 77, of El Reno, Oklahoma, passed away on January 15, 2026. He was born on May 1, 1948, in Alice, Texas, to Corine Fowler and Glen Davidson.

John "Glen" Davidson graduated from Union City High School. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. Glen worked as a grocery store manager at Bill's IGA in Kingfisher, a local Rainbow bread distributor, and was co-owner of Dee's Café and Produce off of US 81 in Union City. He will be remembered as El Reno's beloved watermelon and cantaloupe peddler.

Glen is survived by sisters Carol Bounds of McKinney, TX, Pat Bowden of Tenaha, TX, and sister-in-law Helen Fowler of Rusk, TX; brother Donnie Gregory of Midwest City, OK; sons David Davidson and wife Kimberly of El Reno, Danny Davidson of El Reno, and John Davidson and fiancé Jennifer of Warr Acres; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Corine Gregory-Fowler; stepfather, Raymond Gregory; father, Glen Davidson; sisters Naomi Summers and Ernestine Fowler; and brothers Sam Fowler and Andrew Fowler.

Glen enjoyed fishing, camping, family gatherings, going on cruises with family, and visiting with his customers.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home with a graveside to follow at Union City Cemetery.
