John Davis was born on January 17, 1949 to Geraldine Powell-Davis & John Davis, Sr. in McAlester, Oklahoma. John was preceded in death by his parents to Geraldine Johnson and John Davis, Sr. his daughter; Sharletia Davis his two brothers; Nathaniel Davis and Tommy Johnson; his brother-in-law Anthony Robertson and his niece Stacy Davis.
John lived with his mother and siblings in McAlester, Oklahoma until age of 5 and then John relocated to Atoka with his paternal grandparents were he attended school. John accepted Christ and attended Church of God & Christ of Atoka Oklahoma. John worked a concrete construction for many years. Later in life he entered into the hospitality industry. John enjoyed traveling and hunting. One of his favorite pastimes was watching football.
John leaves to cherish his memories his daughters; Keshia Davis, Sharonda Del-Moral, Erma Butler (Randy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Katherine Gentle (Thomas) of Dallas, Texas. His sons; Kourtney Jordan, and Jonathan Avery-Davis (Misty) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Two God-daughters; Ashley Steverson, and Nicole Sutter of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren; Ronni Reed, Danrille DelMoral, Cyerra DelMoral, Rao Raza, Curtisha Davis, Kyra Merz, Cameron Baker, Teegan Avery, John DelMoral, Jr., Slylynn and Tylyin Johnson, Kolbee Avery, Cordae Emerson, Devontae Russell, Tra'Vion Pride, Eric Pride, Becky Patterson, Keenan Jordan and Becky Gaines. His sisters; Annette Belmaster of Los Angeles, Ca. Mattie Garret, Elaine Morris-Lewis (Andre), Ernestine Robertson all of Oklahoma City. Emma (Judy) Johnson-Ballard (Clarence) of St. Louis, Mo. His brothers; Donald Ray Johnson (Dianne) of Oklahoma City, OK and Mark Johnson (Marilyn) of McAlester, OK. John special friend and companion Rebecca Fuller of Atoka, Oklahoma. As well as a host of other family members and friends.
