He was a graduate of Erasmus High School in Brooklyn, NY. John worked at Russell & Stoll, then Litton Industries for many years, and proudly served in the National Guard as a Master Sargent. John loved to share his enthusiasm of sports with his boys and grandchildren. He was an avid fan of the New York Mets and Giants.
John is survived by his wife Rose deLisi, 3 loving children; Michael and his fianc e Karen, David, and John Jr. and his wife Deborah. He has 5 grandchildren; Jessica, Danielle, John III, Michael and Dana.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. Funeral Services will be Monday 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Arrive at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow to Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan.
