John Della Vecchia Obituary
Of Marlton, NJ, passed away suddenly on February 19, 2024. He was 62 years old. Beloved husband of Anita (nee Fortuna). Loving father of Andrew Della Vecchia (Carolyn), Stephen Della Vecchia (Elizabeth) and Matthew Della Vecchia. Devoted grandfather of Paul, Joseph, and Louis Della Vecchia. Dear son of Kay Della Vecchia (nee Carastro) and the late John G. Della Vecchia, Sr. and brother of Michael Della Vecchia and Jeanine Conti (Joseph). John grew up in South Philadelphia and graduated from St. Joseph's Prep in 1979. He went on to earn a degree in accounting from Loyola University. He worked as a finance accountant for Temple Health Services in Philadelphia for several years and had previously worked for Dow Jones and Company. He was a gifted handyman and loved tools, but he lived for the moments he could spend with his grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to his visitation 10am to 12:30pm and to his Memorial Service at 12:30pm on Saturday, March 2 at BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, 601 NJ 73 South (at Evesham Rd.), Marlton, NJ. Burial will be private.
