John Joseph Delucchi
Sept. 21, 1945 to March 22, 2024
John Delucchi, a self-made man, born to Domenic Mario Delucchi and Josphine Albina Delucchi.
He was born in San Francisco and grew up in Russian Hill. Attended St. Peter and Paul Grammar, Sacred Heart High School and a graduate of San Francisco State. Growing up he loved going to the family's ranch in Occidental.
John served in the Army, received a degree in accounting and worked in the shipyard industry until he retired in 1998.
John and his partners of Service Engineering became a fixture of the San Francisco waterfront for many years.
John was an excellent cook, woodworker and a loyal friend.
He was a supportive and loving husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
John loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, family dinners and a good party.
John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Delucchi, his sisters, nieces and nephews, His two sons Nick and Tony, and their wives, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to John's caregiver, Minda.
Mass service will be held at 11:00am on April 5, 2024, at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Parish
