John F. Dempsey

On June 21, 2025, John Fredric Dempsey passed away peacefully in Forest Hill, MD. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence Virginia Dempsey (nee Nolte); devoted father of Karen Dempsey Mueller and her husband Denis Mueller and the late Stephens Ruffner Dempsey and his surviving wife Lori Dempsey; loving grandfather of Michael Dempsey and his wife Kathleen, Zachery Mueller and his fiancé Sierra Rubin, Sarah Dempsey, and Max Mueller; cherished great-grandfather of Leona Dempsey. Friends may visit at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Home, 1050 York Rd (Beltway Exit 26) on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9-11am at which time the funeral service will begin at 11:00am. The interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
