Kristen,
It´s been decades (since Dallas), and I´m saddened to have recently heard about John´s passing. During that stage of our lives, John was a great, enthusiastic, encouraging friend to me, and we grew close at PCPC and with Pat Hobin.
Given its Easter weekend, which is when I moved to Dallas back in 1994, I often think of John and his friendship to me. I hope your family is doing well.

Kristen,
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
Our family will never forget how you made us feel welcome, when you and John opened your home for a wonderful Christmas Party. We appreciate the hospitality extended to us!
In all things, give thanks! We join you as you thank the Lord for John and how he was such a blessing to you as a husband of 27 loving years, father, grandfather and all the people in which he came in contact throughout his life.
We can clearly see the pinnacle was the spiritual conversations John had about God's goodness and love. In closing, these words resonated about John, well done thy good and faithful servant, well done!
