John Dixon Obituary
John Dixon Sr. passed away peacefully on May 4 at his beloved Oconee Springs Farm, surrounded by family and loved ones.
A man of principle, determination and vision, Mr. Dixon was a highly respected businessman, a steadfast husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a passionate wine connoisseur. Throughout his life, he led with strength, purpose and an unwavering commitment to those he loved and the work he believed in.
He is survived by his wife, Matt; daughter, Tracie, and son-in-law, Tommy; son, Johnny, and daughter-in-law, Ileana; grandsons, Cameron, Harrison, Jack, Oliver and Sammy; and granddaughter, Juliana. His influence on his family and community was profound, and his legacy endures in the lives he shaped and the values he championed.
Mr. Dixon’s life was defined by dedication, resilience and impact. He will be remembered with deep love, respect, and lasting admiration.
A celebration of Mr. Dixon’s life will be held at his residence Thursday, May 8th. Friends are invited to drop in from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Stories of remembrance will be shared from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.
