John Frederick Dysard, Sr. (Fred)
April 30, 1935 - August 9, 2025
John Frederick Dysard, Sr. (Fred), age 90, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Cimino, his father, Blair Dysard, and his loving stepfather, Sal Cimino.
Fred is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Ida Mae Dysard, and their children: Renee Twilley (Jason), John Dysard, Jr. (Nancy), and Tom Dysard (Laurie). He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Ashley Ripley, Robbie Ripley (Brittany)-who he lovingly called "Goober," Justin Dysard, Josh Dysard (Paola), Katy Whittemore (Stephen) and Melanie Liddic, along with several beloved great-grandchildren.
Fred was a man of simple pleasures and deep passions. A true enthusiast of antiques and model cars. He had a lifelong love for Westerns and was especially fond of John Wayne and Gene Autry. His love for animals, particularly dogs, was unwavering, and he could often be found with a canine companion by his side and taking in a stray.
Though quiet and unassuming, Fred's spirit was strong, kind, and steady. He was a man not simple in mind, but in heart-someone who cherished the small moments and the people around him above all else.
Visitation will be held at Connelly Funeral Home in Dundalk on Wednesday, August 13 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with a service beginning at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will take place at Meadowridge Memorial Park on Thursday, August 14 at 10:30 AM.
