John Eddy Obituary

He was born on January 27, 1964, in Manchester, Iowa, his parents are James and Kathleen (Mc Elmeel) Eddy.
John Paul is survived by two sisters, Annette (Lincoln) St. George of San Antonio, Texas, and Paulette (Keith) Leidy, of Belleville, Illinois. He loved being an uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by both parents.
John was a resident at Apostolic LifePoints for 40 years. He was cared for and loved by many. He enjoyed family time, outings with friends, and spending time outside in nature. He had a great sense of humor and a playful smile. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Burial will be held at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Apostolic Christian LifePoints, 2073 Veterans Rd. Morton, Illinois 61550.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.
