John Erskine, age 78, a longtime resident of Swarthmore, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025 with his family by his side.
John was a proud Marine who served in Vietnam and spent many years working as a system analyst at Peco. A true movie buff, he had an impressive collection of over 1,000 DVDs. He was also devoted to his dogs, a loyal Phillies fan, and looked forward to enjoying pizza every Friday night.
He has survived by his devoted wife of 30 years Beverly Erskine; his children, John (Karrie) Erskine, Jason Erskine, Cindy Erskine; his grandchildren, Katherine (Tyler), Erin, Donovan, Amina, Airianna; his great grandchild, Riley; also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Carol (Anthony) Varrassi, Bonnie Burns, and nephews and cousins.
Visitation: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 9:30-11:00AM at the Bateman Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave. Brookhaven, PA.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Media Cemetery, Media, PA.
