Loving uncle of Kimberly, Melissa, Jason, late James, Mike, Brian and Chris.
Kind great-uncle of Tegan and Parker.
Proud graduate of St. Sabina/St. Bede grade schools, St. Laurence high school and Chicago State University.
John loved golfing, gardening and all Chicago sports teams (Except the Cubs!).
"Great friend and golf partner" to many.
Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL.
Family and friends to meet Friday 9:20 a.m. at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church,17500 S. 84th Ave, Tinley Park, IL for Mass 9:30 a.m.
Interment private
In lieu of flowers donations to Mulliganeers, 612 72nd Court, Downers Grove, IL 60516 would be appreciated.

I worked with John at Acxiom for many years and I considered him a good friend of mine. A few of us would occasionally meet up after work to have some fun and blow off a little steam. John was so funny, so kind - a real class act. It's been some time since we connected, and this is quite a shock to me. My deepest condolences to John's family during this difficult time. I am honored and humbled to have known John and really get to know what a wonderful person he was.

John was a first rate, class act, stand up guy as anyone who got to know him realized. My condolences to all he left behind. This death hits many of us hard. I am fortunate enough to know people in Johns circle, my only regret is not sharing more time with this gentleman.
