John J. Feeley

John J. Feeley, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023, in Southampton, NY. Born on March 22, 1933, in New York, NY, John's 90 years were marked by his analytical mind, adventurous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family.
John is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Eleanor, and their cherished children, John (Ann Tierney), Lynn Finger (Augie), Anne Higgins (Chris), and the late Edward (Annette Patalano). He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Lisa, Michelle, Augie, Melissa, Allison, Kaitlin, Christopher, Aileen, Liam, and Erin. John was the dear brother of James (Marie) and the late Patrick (and the late Susan).
John's lifelong passion for learning began at a young age and led him to earn a BS degree in Industrial Engineering. He went on to have a successful career as an engineer, where his analytical skills and keen attention to detail were highly valued. He was a proud Marine veteran, who served in the Korean War and was later honored by the Korean government for his service. John brought the same level of dedication and discipline to his work and personal life.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family and creating lasting memories with loved ones. One of the most memorable trips for John and Eleanor was their journey to Ireland, where they were able to connect with their ancestral roots and share in the rich history and heritage of the Emerald Isle.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who took great pride in the accomplishments and successes of his family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of sharing in his life's journey.
