I´ve just heard the sad news about John and would like to send condolences to our cousin Eleanor and all her family. I have the most wonderful memories of meeting the family in 1978 and 1980 when visiting NYC.
Sincere sympathy from cousin Elizabeth Higgins-Parker and all cousins in Ireland and UK

I just received a text from an old friend and am deeply saddened to learn of John's passing. I kind of grew up with the Feeley's beginning at the age of 5 or 6. The Feeley clan lived two houses away, and later, across the street. I have very fond memories of getting into trouble with son Johnny and a few times having to answer to his dad, Mr. Feeley. Mr. and Mrs. Feeley were close and loving friends and confidants of my parents. He was a great husband, father, uncle, grandparent and friend. There are many, many memories I have of him, most of which involved he and Mrs. Feeley sitting on the front stoop, sharing a drink and conversation with my parents and the other neighbors on 113th St. One more recent memory that is etched in my mind was while I was giving my father's eulogy. I was a little nervous, looked up and saw Mr and Mrs F in the front row. It had a calming effect on me.
I wish Mrs Feeley, Johnny, Lynn, Annie and the rest of the Feeley clan my deepest and most sincere condolences.
Love always, Mike Zunno
