Paul Thompson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Thompson of Southampton, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Paul was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 17, 1957, and passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 69. He was predeceased by his parents, Helen Cross and Lincoln Thompson, and his brother, Glenn.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Marianne; his sons, Eric and Kurt; his daughters-in-law, Marisa and Samantha; and his grandson, Aneillo.

Paul had a passion for the great outdoors and found solace in fishing and gardening. He was an active member of his church and a kind, patient soul.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held at Brockett Funeral Home on February 10, 2026. Visitation will take place from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated February 11, 2026 10am at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Paul are warmly invited to join in honoring his remarkable life.
