John Feriod Obituary
Legacy:
John was a loving husband, proud father, and deeply devoted grandfather whose life was defined by dedication, responsibility, and an unwavering love for his family. A hardworking man, John spent fifty years in the retail industry; where his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment were evident to all who knew him. He took great pride in providing for his family and leading by example through perseverance and integrity. John was also a faithful servant of the Lord, sharing his love for God through the way he lived-steadfast, humble, and kind.
Family:
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucy Feriod.
He shared nearly forty years of marriage with his beloved wife, Laura. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, faith, and unwavering support for one another. John was a proud father to Kevin (Melissa), Jayme (Josh), Jodi (Kennedy), Maggi (Matt), Shayne (Caitlin), and Tyler (Alyssa), and a deeply devoted Papa to Nylah, Gabriel, Shay, Jayda, Micah, Jase, Tristan, Rosalie, Josiah, Kaleigh, Landon, Brody, Grayson, Parker, Theodore, Easton, Rylan, Norah, and Willa-each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Mike (Sue); his sister, Mary Lou (the late Ronald J. Sears); and several nieces.
John's legacy lives through the family he loved so deeply, the faith he lived by, and the values he instilled through a lifetime of hard work and devotion.
He will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.

In celebration of John's life, the family invites everyone to wear their Philadelphia Eagles gear for services.
Farewell Tribute:
Family and friends are invited to attend John's visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am held at Calvary Chapel Gloucester County, located at 5360 NJ-42, Blackwood, NJ 08012 on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am.
Please rejoin the family to continue to celebrate John's life at Bonesaw Brewery, located at 570 Mullica Hill Rd, Glassboro, NJ 08028 immediately after services.

So sad to hear of John's passing. He was a good friend and boss. We grew up together in Penndel- Langhorne Pa. Area in the late 60's and early 70's. He was in my wedding in 1973 and hired me at Pathmark in 1975. We lost touch in the Early 80's due to location moves and just life as it goes. Only hearing about him now and throughout the years from friends. To his family I offer my condolences. Thanks John for the friendship. Jim Rodriguez (Jimmie Rod.)

Laura and family,
Just heard about John , it´s quite a shock. John and I worked together for over 40 years both at Pathmark and Rite Aid. John was a great worker and dedicated associate. He was a great manager and his associates were very loyal to him and loved his management style. He was the best store manager who ever worked for me and the only one I ever gave the top performance review to. Laura my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your entire family. John will surely be missed.
