FIORENZA, JOHN N., 78, of Rio Grande, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Virginia Napolio Fiorenza, he moved to NJ 12 years ago from Drexel Hill, PA. He worked for over 46 years as an engineer/buyer and served in the US Army Reserves from 1961 to 1966. He was an active citizen of the community as a member of Notre Dame De La Mer Parish, the Elks Club, Villas Fishing Club, and the VFW in Villas, NJ. He also had a passion for music, and enjoyed playing piano, guitar, harmonica, and the accordion. John was loving and devoted to his family, and will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend of 53 years, Rita (nee Perrupato), his three children, John, Rita, and Glen (Jodi); his three grandchildren, Alyssa, Nicholas, and Thomas John; his sister Gina (Joseph) Orlando; his nieces and nephews, Gina, Anthony, and Joanne; and his cousins. A Funeral Mass in memory of John will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame De La Mer Parish, St. Ann Church, 2901 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ, where viewing will begin at 9:30a.m. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Cold Spring. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
