PATTEN – John C. Flannery, 81, passed away October 13, 2025, at his home. He was born December 29, 1943, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Kenneth and Phyllis (Manter) Flannery. John served proudly in the US Army. He was the owner of John's Electric and Solar, and enjoyed working along with his grandson Ebon. He is survived by two sons: John Flannery Jr. of Patten and Mike Flannery of New Hampshire; six grandchildren: Dennis, Nik, Chris, Cadin, Brianna, and Ebon; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Cheryl Flannery of Fort Fairfield; one brother, Gerald Flannery of Fort Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Sally, his daughter Laurie, three sisters: Marlene Flannery, Margola Spear, and Donna Clifford; and brother Gary Flannery.
Friends may call Friday, October 24, from 10:30–11:30 at the RIP Museum in Island Falls. A graveside funeral service will be held at 12 noon at Patten Cemetery.
