John Franklin "Frank" Frazer, III, 88, of Concord, formerly of Midland, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Morningside Assisted Living.

Frank was born June 9, 1936, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late John Franklin Frazer, Jr. and the late Sadie Louise Ingle Frazer. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Colleen Urey Frazer; brother, Robert Henry Frazer; and step-son, Jeff Foreman.

Frank was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. He graduated from NC State University and retired from Bank of America after 40 years of dedicated service. Frank was a member of Howell's Missionary Baptist Church in Concord. He enjoyed singing and working in the garden. Most of all, Papa Frank was a loving husband, step-father, and grandfather. He will be forever loved and greatly missed. 

Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Mabel Waldrop Frazer of Concord, NC; step-daughter, Vanessa (Geoffrey Williamson) Foreman; step-son, Michael (Sandra) Foreman, I; step-daughter, Marilyn (Rainer Stebich) Foreman; 5 grandchildren, Renee (Travis) Godinez, Christie Hepburn, Aimee Crot, Michael Foreman, II, and Caroline Williamson; and 4 great-grandchildren, Matt Godinez, Mackenzie Hepburn, Daisy Hepburn, and Alex Godinez.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Friday, July 5, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service with military honors will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Frank's brother-in-law, Jack Waldrop.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society; www.cancer.org.
