John Gibson Obituary
John served in The Army National Guard and was a lifelong baseball fan, Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, and other teams. He worked with United Airlines, Virginia/Dominion Power, and the Fairfax County Virginia school system.
He attended Washington Lee High School followed by Ferrum Junior College and East Tennessee State University where he was a pitcher on the baseball teams of each school. John was a member of the Forestbrook Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
John is preceded in death by his parents Robert N. and Elizabeth T. Gibson, his 2 children David and Erin, and his wife, J. Eileen S. Gibson.

(Ruth Anne) Gibson, Purcellville, VA; sister in law, Mary (Paul) Lefebvre, Ocala, FL and their youngest child, CD Lefebvre, Western, MA; grandchildren, Ryan Blood, Summerville, SC; Maya McGarry, Centreville, VA, Nephews, Phil (Heidi) Gibson, Holliston, MA, Jim (Laurie) Gibson, Cincinnati, OH; Steve (Jennifer) Gibson, Oak Ridge, TN, Tim (Annette) Lefebvre, Dracut, MA, Steve Lefebvre, Lawrence, MA; grandnieces and grandnephews, Claire McCrae, Denver, CO; Chloe Gibson, Cincinnati, OH, Boone Gibson, Amherst, MA, Jesse Gibson, Jersey City, NJ, Frayleny Lefebrve, San Antonio, Texas, Remy Lefebrve, San Antonio, Texas, Arianna Lefebvre, Dracut, MA, Laelah Lefebrve, Dracut, MA, Victoria Lefebrve, Dracut, MA, and Zion Lefebrve, Dracut, MA.
John's celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Forestbrook Baptist Church, 2051 Forestbrook Road, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588, as an expression of sympathy.
