John Dyer Gilbreth, Jr., 77, of Wichita Falls, TX, was called home by Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, on Monday, February 17, 2025. He passed away peacefully at Advance Rehab in Wichita Falls, TX.
John was born on November 18, 1947, to Estelle and J.D. Gilbreth. He is survived by his wife Patricia Gilbreth of Wichita Falls, TX, her two daughters, Rhonda Johnson and Terri Kiesling, and two living siblings, brother Nathan and wife Carol, and sister, Elizabeth Palmer. Dee is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister LaVonne Stine.
Dee, as he was called by many of his close friends, will be remembered as a loving husband, a true animal lover, and a skilled carpenter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or the Wichita County Humane Society.
