John Gooden Obituary
87 year old, John L. Gooden, of Wheatfield, passed away February 22, 2024, with his family around him.
On September 4, 1936, John was born to Thomas and Ruth (Casey) Gooden, in Herrin, Illinois. John was a member of the Local #150 Operating Engineers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
John is survived by his children: Butch (Roger Reber) Gooden, Tina Koebcke, Keith (Carolyn) Gooden, Dan (Julie) Gooden, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Dollie Gooden, son: Michael Gooden, and brother: Tommy Gooden, granddaughter: Kristie Gooden.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for John will take place at the funeral home, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, with Bishop Rick Helton officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
