John went home to meet his heavenly father on Sunday October 19 2025. John was born in Iowa County to Donna and Dennis Gorsh. He lived in Williamsburg where he attended school. He spent time going on trips to see his cousins and making many childhood memories.

John later moved to Indianola Iowa with his brother Jim. John met the love of his life Angela in 2003 while working at Indianola Walmart. From that moment on he was a devoted family man who raised five children. He was all about making memories with his children and later on his three grandsons. From parks, movies, concerts, zoo and science center trips, and pumpkin patches he was always ready for our next family adventure. He was more than a provider he went above and beyond for his family.

John is survived by his wife, Angela; children, Shelby (Isaac) Olguin, Austin (Haley) Hall, Jacob Gorsh, Jaxson Gorsh, Sofia Gorsh; grandchildren, Phillip Olguin, Gabriel Olguin, Hudson Hall; father, Dennis Gorsh; brothers, Jim Gorsh, Jarret (Tara) Gorsh; and countless other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Gorsh; grandparents, Russell and Larena Gorsh and James and Mary Jane Baker.
