John W. Griffin, Sr, on March 7, 2026, of Runnemede, NJ formerly of Camden, NJ. Age 94.

Beloved husband of the late Harriet "Mary" Griffin. Devoted father of John W. Griffin, Jr., Debbie Cunningham (Joe), and Earl Griffin (Patti). Cherished grandfather of Rachael O'Leary (Chris), Earl Griffin (Brett), Joseph Cunningham (Shelby) and Brian Cunningham (Tara). Adoring great-grandfather of Aubrey, Christopher, Cooper, Ryan and Patrick. Loving son of the late John S. and Helen (nee Kaufman) Griffin. Dear brother of Joan Patton (the late Allen) and the late Earl Griffin (Evelyn). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. John will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a valued member of the Runnemede Senior Club and the American Legion.

There will be viewing from 9am to 11am on Friday, April 13, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ. Funeral service at 11am. Interment to follow at Bethel Memorial Park, 1620 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ.
