John Burdette Obituary
died suddenly on 8/26/2025 in Frederick, MD.
He was Son of Doris (Stanley) Burdette and Perry Burdette.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Barbara Burdette, Ruth Hobbs and Rosemary Friend, niece Brenda Magin, nephew Dale Burdette and great nephew TJ Burdette.
John graduated from Damascus High school in1963. He served in the United States Army until Jan 8th 1972! John had a few jobs over his lifetime, John Burdette Realty then many years ago Rip Van Winkle waterbeds!
John will be missed by his aunt Phyllis Walker, brother in law Donnie Hobbs, cousin Terry Warfield, many nieces and nephews and good friends including his roommate of 20 years Brenda Thomason.
John grew up in Woodfield, MD then spent approximately 30 years in Mountaindale near Thurmont, MD
Our family will celebrate John on Sunday, October 5th at his niece Dianne's house at 2:00 pm. If you are interested in coming please email me [email protected] so I have an idea approximately how many to expect. I will in turn send you my address.

John and I go back to the `60´s. We meet often at local clubs and were friends for many years. John was always a quiet person and a friend to many. Sorry to read of your passing. I wish his family and friends find relief in the many memories of this fine person. Marnel
