John Harris Obituary
Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, a son of Shirley Harris and John Berry, Sr., who raised him in Wilmington, Delaware. John or as he was affectionately known to some as "Shaka" and to his siblings as "Snookums" was a proud father to his daughter and lived a life deeply rooted in honoring his family and ancestors.
He leaves behind a legacy of family, love, and remembrance that will live on through generations. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ivan Berry, and his two sisters, Cindy Madison and Erica Thompson..
John is survived by his only daughter, Maisha Harris; his five grandchildren, eight great -grandchildren, his three brothers,Mark Berry, Jeffrey Berry and Patrick Berry; two sisters, Donna Peak, Stephanie Berry; his sister-in-law, Wanda D. Berry and a host of nieces and nephews..
