The family would like to thank the UPMC Western Maryland Emergency Department for everything they did for Bob on Saturday: Dr. Robbins for his urgent concern and care; Dr. Shafiei for his valiant efforts to save Bob; Dr. Cooper for his kind and calming manner; Nurse Annette who lovingly and compassionately cared for Bob all day and then kindly and sweetly spent time with Debbie; all the others whose names we do not know; and Chaplain Rusty Kitzmiller. Your loving care, kindness, and compassion will be remembered.
"But of all these friends and lovers, there is no one compares with you. And these memories lose their meaning, when I think of love as something new. Though I know I'll never lose affection for people and things that went before, I know I'll often stop and think about them. In my life, I love you more.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fort Hill Scholarship Committee, 500 Greenway Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502.
