John Hightower was born on January 19th, 1957.
John attended and graduated from Andress High School in 1975 in northeast El Paso, Texas. Following Graduation, he enlisted in the US Army where he served honorably for nine years. Following his miliary service John attended college where he studied business with a focus on accounting. After college he began a second career as a Truck driver where he drove freight all across this great country. In his youth John was known to have a hard head. In his later years John was a more philosophical person that was eager to share his life’s wisdom and counsel. He was a loving son, a good brother, a steadfast friend, and a devoted husband. John is preceded in death by his first wife Brenda and his second wife Nancy.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Friday June 20, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, Tx 79904 with Army Honors at 5:00 PM and a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM.
