John Hodgdon Obituary

John was born in Brattleboro, Vermont and raised by his parents, Dorothy & Joe Belair. As a true New Englander, John remained a LOYAL supporter of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Celtics throughout his life.
As an enlisted Navy Cryptologist, John traveled the world and was proud of his service to the country, retiring as a 20-year veteran of the US Navy. He was a loyal servant member of the Moose Lodge, serving as both President and Governor twice, and received the Fellowship Degree of Honor in 2010. His service extended far beyond himself, taking responsibility of and coordinating Thanksgiving Dinner service for the elderly and families for 25 years.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy and stepfather, Joe Belair.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Patricia Hodgdon; children, John (Kate), Michael, and Scott (Aimee) and their two sons, Brant and Bryden), Amanda, and stepdaughter Leslie. Also survived by his sister, Jean Hodgdon Bieselin (John); brother, Maurice (Josie) and Richard (Barbara).
