Loving mother of Ellen Beigh and her husband Stephen of Stoneham, Jennifer Hodgdon of Belmont and the late Diane Ghiozzi. Devoted grandmother of Olivia Beigh of Berlin, Germany, Sophia Beigh of Stoneham and Isabella Ghiozzi of Medford. She is survived by her sister Diane Vicari. She was predeceased by her brother, Carl Ahlberg, and sisters, Ruth Little and Florence Morrison. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, Arlington, on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sonja may be made to Cotting School, 453 Concord Avenue, Lexington, MA 02421.
