John Holland

John Holland, 61, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 4:17 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery in Murray, KY. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Murray, KY he was born January 11, 1962 the son of the late Gerald Ruel Holland and Margie Maxine Horton Holland. He was a machinist and had worked for Pennyrile Machine Company and Mize Machine, Inc. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church. John enjoyed riding motorcycles, visiting the planetarium, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister: Nora Aline Holland; and his brother: Jerry Holland.
Survivors include his wife: Angela Collins Holland; his sons: Kent Quintero II of Hopkinsville, KY and Randall (Cecilia) Quintero of Chesapeake, VA; his sisters: Melissa Holland (Monty) Davis of Alexandria, PA and Diane Holland (Rick) Hamby of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Kyle Quintero, Kelsey Quintero, and Harper Quintero; his great grandchildren: Kailyn Quintero, Maddox Quintero, Kion Bingham, Kahlani Bingham, and Phoenity Bingham; and his nieces and nephews: Gerald Holland III, Adam Holland, Erik Davis, Heath Davis, Ashley Hamby Rogers, LesLee Hamby Hoover, Calista Collins, Cooper Collins, Carson Collins, and Courtney Collins.
