John Willie Holt

John Willie Holt, age 85, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was a member of Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church for over 30 years, where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Georgia Frisby Holt; father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Nancy Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Holt; sons, Jon (Sherry) Holt, Joey (Malva) Holt; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca (Ethan) Parton, James (Bailey) Holt, Micah (Autumn) Holt, Lorryn Holt (fiancé Aaron Taylor); 4 great-grandchildren, Tanner Parton, Weston Parton, Case Holt, Jase Holt; sister, Edna Driskill; brother, Robert Holt; also many other family and friends. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. in Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church with Rev. Glen Ball officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
