John E Hughes, Jr.
March 4, 1941 – June 2, 2023
John E. Hughes, Jr, 82, died peacefully June 2, at his home in Morristown, NJ
John lived a full life, being raised in Montclair, NJ, attending Seton Hall Prep (Class of '59), Villanova University (Class of 1963) then onto graduating from Seton Hall Law School (1966). John was selected to the Seton Hall Prep Hall of Fame in 1999 as an Individual then again in 2012 as part of the 1959 Baseball Team. John then met and married his wife of 47 years, Peggy in 1967.
John was the beloved husband of his predeceased wife, Peggy; adored Father of John and Kevin (Cheryl); loving grandfather of Shannon (D'Armiento), Meghan, and Caitlin; and Great Grandfather to Brody D'Armiento
In Lieu of Services, John just wanted a "Celebration". Anyone wishing to pay their respects and share in his life is warmly encouraged to stop by, anytime between 2pm-6pm, at the Commonwealth Club, 26 Northview Ave, Montclair, NJ 07043 on Tuesday, June 20th.
