John Isely Obituary

He served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant and was stationed in the Philippines during WWII. He is preceded in death in 2019 by his wife of 67 years, Rose Marie. They retired together in Tampa Florida in 1987. John graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and taught Cost Accounting there after graduation. He worked for Clevite Harris Group which later became Gould, Inc. where he was Corporate Comptroller. He was a self-taught pianist who loved to entertain with his version of "boogie woogie", and always toasted with family, neighbors and friends "TO THE GOOD TIMES".
He is survived by his children, Cindy Zitko of Sugarcreek, Ohio, Jeffery Isely of Land O Lakes, Florida, Jim Isely (Connie) of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Bob Isely of Batavia, Illinois. He has 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
