John William Julian

John William Julian, 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at his home in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. The family will receive friends for 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial to follow in Parks Chapel Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to C.A.R.E. or Parks Chapel Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home. John William Julian was born on March 30th, 1944 to Bus & Vesta Julian. He grew up on a farm outside of Clinton, MO where he played in the creek and helped on the farm. He met and married Rose Elizabeth Buckley in Nov. 1965. He was drafted into the military in 1966 and served as a driver in Korea. He came home in 1968 and reunited with Rosie, and they were happily married for 46 years. He lost Rosie in 2011, but found love again with Kristy in 2018. They were happily married when he passed. John was a hard worker and an even better friend. He worked at the concrete plant in Clinton, MO, for 26 years, and retired from there, but he was a man of many talents. He hunted and fished, sprayed fields, and still had time to help anyone he could. He built many beautiful pieces of furniture, in the shop he and Rosie created together. He loved the outdoors, and watching wildlife. The amazing thing about John Julian, was he always made you feel like you were his favorite person in the world. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Vesta and Bus Julian, 3 sisters Mary Virginia, Wilda Davis, and Norma Dody. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Julian, of Clinton, MO and four children, Linda Sue Dill, and her husband Randy of Sikeston, MO Dwaine Julian, and his wife Stephanie, Mary Young, and her husband Dave, Krista Newland and her husband Josh, all of Clinton, MO. His brother Bud of Clinton, Mo, and his sister Lynn Fields of Lowry City, MO. Thirteen grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He's touched more lives than I can count. God has received another Angel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
